Leading Welsh golfers will reconvene in Cardiff at the end of the month for the rescheduled Ryder Cup Wales 2010 Welsh National PGA Championship.
The championship, which dates back to 1904 and whose past winners include Ian Woosnam, has been rescheduled to take place from September 30-October 2.
The announcement came after heavy rain and flooding in South Wales had forced organisers to postpone play today (Thursday, September 4) for a second successive day.
Three time European Tour winner Stephen Dodd will be among those competing for a share of the £42,500 prize fund in the prestigious event.
An added incentive for the leading finishers in the tournament is qualification via the Welsh Order of Merit for the three-man PGAs of Europe International Team Championships in Roda, Spain, in November.
In addition the leading non exempt player will also earn a place alongside Europe's elite at next year's Wales Open at Celtic Manor Resort and entry into the Firstplus Wales Challenge.
