Broome Manor professional Barry Sandry is more concerned about enjoying the PGA Super 60s tournament at Forest Pines on August 27 than where he and partner Peter Hancock finish.
Sandry believes having a good holiday to Lincolnshire and reuniting with old friends rank above aiming for glory.
"I hardly play at all now but this is such a fun tournament it's worth the effort going," he said.
"My partner, Peter Hancock, and I go up together with our wives for a nice break and there is absolutely no pressure at all.
"We played in it last year for the first time and I think we picked up some money which was a bonus.
"We thoroughly enjoy it and so do the wives - they caddie for us and they're brilliant. They also really enjoy it too even though they don't really play that much.
"It's just a lovely break away."
Sandry admits to feeling very nostalgic when he meets old friends from days gone by.
"It's great to meet up with so many of the guys we used to play with in pro-ams and on the seniors' tour," he said.
"It brings back so many memories of the good times during our younger days and we all like to reminisce a lot."
Although Sandry is not setting any targets for the tournament, he does admit he and Hancock will be more focused if they are in contention after the first day.
"The whole emphasis is just on enjoyment and having a good time," he added.
"But on the other hand, if we have a really good first round we might take it a little bit more seriously on the second day."
