Golf legend Nick Faldo has sent a good luck message to the GB&I team as they aim to become the first to win the prestigious PGA Cup on American soil.
The six-time Major winner gave his backing to captain Gary Alliss and is tipping the 10-man team to successfully defend the Llandudno Trophy they won at The K Club in Ireland two years ago.
Faldo said: "I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your team the very best of luck for the PGA Cup.
"Following on from your dramatic victory in 2005, I'm sure that you all have the grit and determination to make it two in a row.
"I hope you all have a very successful event."
The opening ceremony for the Cup, which is being held at The Oconee Course in Greensboro, Georgia, will take place later today with the fourball matches kicking off the three-day event on Friday morning.
